Nonconformity
a requirement is not fulfilled
A nonconformity is the non-fulfilment of a requirement: of the customer, the standard, the law or the organisation’s own rules. It applies to products, processes and the management system.
Every nonconformity needs containment, a correction and, depending on the risk and repeats, a corrective action.
