on-time delivery

OTD = deliveries on time / total deliveries × 100 %

On-time delivery is the share of deliveries that arrive within the agreed window. Together with PPM it is the core of most supplier scorecards.

Common mistake

Not defining the window. Agree on whether “on time” means the day, the shift or a time slot, and whether early deliveries count.
